This project is dedicated to promoting the social inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities through team sports and community-based activities. The initiative focuses on raising awareness within local communities about the importance of inclusion in sports activities, encouraging empathy, respect, and active participation. Through workshops, inclusive sporting events, and awareness campaigns, the project aims to break down barriers and create supportive spaces where everyone can feel valued and involved.<\/p>

A central aspect of the project is the direct involvement of volunteers, trainers, families, and participants in the co-creation of inclusive experiences. By working together, participants will explore practical strategies to improve accessibility and encourage equal participation in recreational and sporting activities. Particular attention will be given to promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual support through adapted group sports activities.<\/p>

The project also includes the organisation of inclusive sports events designed to actively involve both young people with intellectual disabilities and the wider community. These events will provide opportunities to share experiences, strengthen social bonds, and promote a culture of inclusion through sport.<\/p>

An important outcome of the initiative will be the development of a practical toolkit<\/strong> containing guidelines, methodologies, and best practices for organising inclusive sporting activities. The toolkit will support associations, trainers, volunteers, and local organisations interested in replicating similar initiatives and fostering inclusive participation within their communities.<\/p>

Through awareness campaigns and social media dissemination, the project seeks to amplify its impact beyond the local level, inspiring greater understanding and encouraging long-term inclusive practices in sports and community life.
