Through the BlueHealth Compass<\/em> mobility project, ASD Sport Compass explores the connection between sailing, environmental awareness, and mental well-being by promoting innovative approaches to grassroots sport. By combining sailing activities with eco-psychology principles and wellbeing practices, the project aims to develop new opportunities for inclusion, resilience, and healthier lifestyles within the Sardinian community.<\/p>

Sardinia\u2019s coastal environment represents a unique resource for promoting physical and mental health through sport. However, there is still a need for structured and accessible programmes that use the relationship between people and nature to support wellbeing, social inclusion, and personal development. Recognising this potential, ASD Sport Compass is committed to strengthening its expertise and developing new methodologies through international learning mobility. 1. Developing Innovative Blue Health Sailing Approaches:
<\/strong>The project aims to create and test a structured Blue Health Sailing Format adapted to the Sardinian context, integrating sailing, eco-psychology, and wellbeing practices into regular sport activities. Through this innovative approach, BlueHealth Compass promotes sailing as a tool for mental wellbeing, inclusion, and active lifestyles.<\/p>

2. Enhancing Skills and Tools for Wellbeing-Oriented Sport Activities:
<\/strong>Through job shadowing and knowledge exchange, ASD Sport Compass staff will strengthen their competences in designing, implementing, and evaluating sport activities focused on wellbeing. Participants will learn practical tools to monitor outcomes such as stress reduction, mood improvement, and social connectedness, ensuring a more effective and evidence-informed approach.<\/p>

3. Strengthening Cooperation between Sport, Health, and Environmental Sectors:
<\/strong>BlueHealth Compass fosters new partnerships between sport organisations, health professionals, and environmental stakeholders to promote sailing as a means of supporting mental health, resilience, and social inclusion. By encouraging cross-sector collaboration, the project aims to create a sustainable model that can benefit local communities and people with fewer opportunities.<\/p>
