From 21 to 30 June, youth workers have the opportunity to participate in the Be Prepared! training in Slovakia – a program designed to strengthen skills in managing emergency situations and increasing the safety and resilience of young people. 

The project focuses on practical emergency response skills, including first aid, evacuation planning, and risk assessment, while also developing emotional resilience and psychological first aid. Participants learn how to support young people during crises and promote a culture of safety through leadership, local awareness activities, and drills. 

Be Prepared! also has a wider impact: it equips participants to share knowledge with their communities through follow-up actions and a multilingual toolkit, fostering solidarity and cross-border cooperation among youth workers.
